ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT
The Mental Health Association in Ulster County, Inc. is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Program Director to supervise all aspect of the (ACT) Assertive Community Treatment Program. The ACT team provides intensive mental health treatment, in a multi-disciplinary mobile team model, to 68 adults with a diagnosis of serious mental illness and possible substance abuse problems. The Program Director will provide 50% time to administrative and supervisory duties and 50% time to direct client treatment. ACT is a Medicaid Managed care program and the director will be responsible for coordinating the authorization process for the ACT clients. The adult clients will be seen in community settings, such as their homes. Targeted coverage area is Ulster County. Services are constructed to meet individual needs, and are available on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.

Required Qualifications include:
A Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field, OR CSW, OR Licensure/Registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Physician
3 years supervisory experience
Preference will be given to individuals with experience on a multi-disciplinary mobile team.
